Monday meals: chicken croissants

One of our family favorite meals is one we made up called chicken croissants. It’s super yummy and very different from what I normally make. A friend of mine made something similar years ago and that was what inspired me to make it.

Chicken croissants

What you need:

  • 3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 cans of crescent rolls
  • Italian dressing
  • shredded cheddar cheese

Cook meat in Italian dressing and minced garlic, then shred the chicken. On a cookie sheet roll out each crescent and put a spoon full of the chicken in the center of each crescent. Fold them all up and sprinkle the cheese on top and bake in the oven at 350. Take them out when they are golden brown,  about 10 minutes. We serve ours with sour cream and salsa. I usually do a tossed salsa to go with this meal. Hope you enjoy!
